I created this sculpture by hand in clay and molded it in silicone to produce a resin castings which was then hand painted and finished. The orb in its hand changes color. This is a large piece and I have had it since 1994 when it was first created.

I remember well the day it was finished and I later met with Anne Strieber and Whitley for dinner. I brought it with me to show them.

The look of this grey is based on the tall gray female that has been with me all my life. She was there when I was in the crib. She was there when people tried to bring harm to me. She was there when I was under hypnosis and was warned that the hypnotherapist couldn’t help me. She wasn’t threatening me as I once thought but protecting me. Warning me.

You can only imagine or you may not have to, how I felt when I saw Day of Disclosure and the face of the gray that turned from a dear to this face we all know today. It was a wonderful feeling to know at that moment the wonderful thing I had been contributing to all along and didn’t know it.

My drawings of her go very far back even before 1994 and in all this time it was spread far and wide on TV and publications during the 90s. The grays always knew this would happen. It’s my purpose and it was my joy to see it being part of Steven’s film.

As I stood near my bed this morning after waking up I was getting my clothes out of my dresser. I looked up and there she was looking at me with that innocent smile on her face after all these years. The orb is still glowing with hope.

I could feel and remember as a child how I was cherished and how I felt innocent, full of wonder to be part of such an amazing life. We still are.

We never had to lose that feeling even though the world demanded we should grow up. In those feelings are the gifts we have always had to truly change the world. Let’s start using them.
