If you have never seen this movie you should. It was the first big screen movie I wrote the story, first script and produced for Hollywood in 1978. Much of the original script was changed throuhg rewrites of the studio, but somehow through all of that my message and spirit survived. Originally entitled “Vortex” the money people thought the audience wouldn’t understand the title and they changed it to the “The Day Time Ended”.
I was also involved in the viual effects and many of the people involved went on to Star Wars and other Lucas movies being made at ILM. This movie kick started a lot of my friends careers in visual effects.
The movie did well in the box office and never faded away from those that loved it. Not to long ago my friend Paul Gentry remasterd the film to the beatiful condition it is in now. Enjoy and please watch on the big screen.
